Zain Nigeria Takes Customers to Grammy Awards

Andrew Kwajaffa, a civil servant in Maiduguri, Borno State, has won an all-expense paid trip to United States, US, to attend the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards holding in Los Angeles. Kwajaffa, who emerged winner in the Zain Music Trivia Game, an interactive short message service, SMS-based programme designed to test customers’ knowledge of music and entertainment, left for the US with Okoye Ferdinand, his bosom friend, Friday, January, 29, 2010. “I want to say a very big thank you to Zain for making this trip to the US possible. This is my first time to the US and I count this a special privilege since I’ll have the rare chance to hobnob with top international music stars and A-list music lovers,” an excited Kwajaffa said.

Zain Music Trivia is an exciting game for all lovers of music. The game tests one’s knowledge and skills of music and gives one a chance to win lots of prizes based on how much one knows about music. To play the game, interested participants were asked to send the key word MUSIC to 31999. Each trivia question is a multiple choice, either A or B, and consists of up-to-date and relevant materials to the Nigerian/African music industry. The service is run in conjunction with Starfish Mobile.

This year’s Grammy will hold at the Staple Centre, Los Angeles, USA. The event would be attended by top music stars. The Grammy Awards is considered by many as the world best and highest rated award ceremony for music.
