Media Perspectives signs affiliation agreement with Carat, world’s leading media group, repositions for world-class services By Salif Atojoko

Media Perspectives, a media strategy, planning and buying agency, is no longer content with being a local champion. The company is now officially affiliated to Carat, the world’s largest independent communications specialist and market leader in digital media solutions. Recently the companies signed a technical affiliation agreement in Lagos, and as part of the agreement, Media Perspectives will now be known as Carat/Media Perspectives, trading as Carat/MP. It will have immediate access to Carat 92s wide network covering 70 countries, while also sharing its international clients with operations in West Africa. In addition, it gives Media Perspectives access to Carat’s global resources to service its clients.

Emeka Okeke, managing director, Media Perspectives, said the pact could not have come at a better time as the company is currently mapping out strategies to offer first-class services to its clients. According to him, with the affiliation, the company is now in a better position to render outstanding services to its clients as it will be better exposed to global best practices within the Aegis Media group. Okeke expressed happiness with the agreement, because it will reinforce the company’s strengths in areas such as digital media solutions and modern integrated communications planning solutions.

To demonstrate Carat’s seriousness of the relationship, Okeke said, Aegis had already organised a series of workshops between last October and January 2010 for its West African regional operations in Lagos.
